Senior Engineering Manager, Promotions

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of software development teams
• Collaborate with Product Manager on project roadmap and requirements
• Document development deliverables and key decisions
• Aid in hiring across the engineering department
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Ensure adherence to development processes throughout the lifecycle
• Establish and monitor success metrics for team performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a leadership role in software development
• 10+ years of software development experience
• Experience managing teams of 10 or more engineers
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
• Passionate about clean code and software craftsmanship
• Experience with Kafka and real-time streaming processing
