Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of product engineers, providing technical guidance and support
- Assemble and expand the engineering team into multiple units
- Drive product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring reliability and quality
- Collaborate with Product and Design to develop technical solutions aligned with customer needs
- Participate in technical discussions to guide architectural and design decisions
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within engineering practices
- Help teams decompose complex challenges into manageable milestones for fast value delivery
- Ensure the team understands the developer experience and the customer impact of their work
Qualifications
- 8+ years in engineering with a proven track record of shipping impactful products and features
- 4+ years managing and developing engineering teams, focusing on hiring and performance management
- Strong technical acumen, especially in system design and architectural decisions
- Experience translating user needs and business goals into technical roadmaps
- Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including product and customer support
- Ability to balance rapid delivery with high-quality standards in engineering outputs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams
- Proven ownership and accountability for team outcomes and systems health
