Senior Engineering Manager, Product

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of product engineers, providing technical guidance and support
• Assemble and expand the engineering team into multiple units
• Drive product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring reliability and quality
• Collaborate with Product and Design to develop technical solutions aligned with customer needs
• Participate in technical discussions to guide architectural and design decisions
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within engineering practices
• Help teams decompose complex challenges into manageable milestones for fast value delivery
• Ensure the team understands the developer experience and the customer impact of their work

Qualifications

• 8+ years in engineering with a proven track record of shipping impactful products and features
• 4+ years managing and developing engineering teams, focusing on hiring and performance management
• Strong technical acumen, especially in system design and architectural decisions
• Experience translating user needs and business goals into technical roadmaps
• Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including product and customer support
• Ability to balance rapid delivery with high-quality standards in engineering outputs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams
• Proven ownership and accountability for team outcomes and systems health
