Senior Engineering Manager, Platform

About the role

Lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of platform engineers in Infrastructure, DevOps and Developer Experience
• Set technical direction and ensure roadmap execution for platform architecture
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term investments in tooling and reliability
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tools
• Design and build AI-powered internal tools to automate tasks and boost productivity
• Enhance developer productivity by streamlining onboarding and CI/CD workflows
• Manage incident practices, conduct postmortems, and maintain on-call rotation

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles
• 3+ years managing high-performing teams
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, PostgreSQL, CI/CD tooling, and GitOps
• Experience in operating production systems with on-call support
• Ability to set technical direction across developer experience and infrastructure
• Strong communication skills with a focus on business impact
• Experience using AI tools for development and debugging

Pay

$230,000 – $280,000 annually
