Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technical vision, leading the team to build scalable, reliable, and elegant solutions.
  • Own product outcomes, working closely with product, design, and business leaders to ensure we're solving the most important problems.
  • Architect processes that scale, balancing speed and stability as the company grows.
  • Drive execution, ensuring the team consistently ships high-impact, high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Raise the bar, fostering a culture of technical excellence, rapid iteration, and continuous improvement.
  • Be a force multiplier, hiring, coaching, and mentoring a high-caliber, diverse team of engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams in fast-growing startups or similarly dynamic environments.
  • A strong technical background (10+ years overall experience), with the ability to dive deep when necessary but also operate at a strategic level.
  • Experience building AI-driven products that have been widely adopted in an enterprise environment.
  • A proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain world-class engineering talent, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and impact.
  • Can thrive in ambiguity—able to drive clarity, alignment, and execution even when navigating the unknown.
  • Lead through others - as the team grows you know how to delegate outcomes to others in a responsible way while still owning the final results.
  • Relentlessly curious and always improving—you believe there’s always a better way and challenge the status quo.

  • Had a track record of leading through others, delegating outcomes while maintaining accountability.
  • Showed a relentless curiosity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Had experience building customer-facing products and understanding user needs.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience with React, NextJS, Django, Postgres, and AWS.
  • Experience with modern, best-in-class commercial large language models (LLMs).
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor and coach a diverse team of engineers.
