Senior Engineering Manager, Machine Learning Platform

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for ML Platform and its core capabilities
• Lead and develop a team of engineering managers while staying hands-on with technical direction
• Anticipate future AI/ML needs and evolve the platform accordingly
• Collaborate with leadership on critical ML initiatives to ensure platform alignment
• Establish engineering excellence in reliability, observability, and user experience
• Recruit and nurture talented platform engineers

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software and/or machine learning engineering with 4+ years managing engineering managers
• Expertise in large-scale ML infrastructure including feature stores and model serving systems
• Strong understanding of data management and its impact on ML models
• Experience with modern ML techniques such as deep neural networks and reinforcement learning
• Accomplished in building platforms that enhance ML team productivity
• Ability to navigate organizational complexity and ambiguity
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
