Senior Engineer - Water Structures
About the role
As a Senior Structural Engineer focused on water infrastructure, you will lead the planning, analysis, and design of critical water and wastewater facilities, including treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, elevated tanks, intake structures, and other hydraulic infrastructure. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies, you will develop innovative, resilient solutions that support essential community services and long-term system reliability. Your day will involve performing structural analyses, developing design calculations, preparing construction documents, and conducting technical reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guide project deliverables through all phases of design, and support business development efforts through client engagement and proposal development. You will also participate in site visits, condition assessments, and construction support activities, helping resolve field issues and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Balancing technical excellence with project execution, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable water infrastructure projects that have a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
