About the role
The Senior Engineer (US) provides deep technical leadership, domain specialization, and expertise, setting direction in developing and implementing solutions to address emerging business needs and strategies. This role also advances the overall design architecture and technology capabilities in accordance with industry developments. It is influential to Senior Leaders and provides guidance and governance to other technology groups and business areas.
Responsibilities
- Act as a top technical individual contributor with expertise in specific domains or a broad range of engineering frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Apply advanced, highly specialized knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, and Bank standards.
- Fulfill a governance role for high-profile, complex, and/or high-risk technology initiatives with significant organizational impact.
- Provide technical leadership, consulting, and direction to larger teams on all aspects of engineering.
- Deliver large technology engineering programs and present to senior leaders, executives, and CXOs with excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Python, Azure (or other public cloud), APIs, Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, containerization, KAFKA streaming, SQL/NoSQL databases.
- 10+ years of experience in Agile delivery.
- 10+ years of experience delivering large technology engineering programs.
- 3+ years of experience implementing machine learning.
- 3+ years of experience in GenAI solutions.
- Experience in consumer banking or the financial industry is a plus.

Pay
$123,680 - $200,200 USD per year
