Responsibilities

• Build solutions that support clinician, patient, and caregiver workflows while meeting safety, usability, and accessibility requirements.
• Translate user requirements, clinical insights, and risk mitigations into elegant and effective UI solutions.
• Ensure build consistency through patterns, style guides, and collaboration with design system owners.
• Partner with Human Factors Engineering to integrate IEC 62366 and FDA usability requirements into the UI/UX workflow.
• Support formative studies, heuristic evaluations, use-error analyses, and simulated-use testing.
• Analyze study results and recommend build changes to improve safety, workflow alignment, and user happiness.
• Contribute to user interface–related risk analysis (e.g., UFMEA, task analysis, use-related hazard identification).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in UX/HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years UI/UX experience, regulated industry preferred.
• Strong UX portfolio showing interaction design, visual design, and complex workflows.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure.
• Experience with embedded/touchscreen interfaces or connected device ecosystems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000 - $132,000 annually. Individual pay is based on location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
