About the role

Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required)
- 8+ years of related transmission line engineering experience in the electric utility industry (required)
- Experience in using PLS-CADD for designing transmission lines (required)
- Strong experience with design codes and standards such as NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI (required)
- Strong experience with liaising substation, environmental, right-of-way construction and maintenance stakeholders (required)
- Demonstrated ability in the application of engineering theories and principles (required)
- Increasingly proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing, and presenting recommendations (required)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner and always obey safety regulations (required)
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and thrive in an unstructured, varied and deadline driven work environment (required)
- Demonstrated strong ability to collaborate with team members as well as peers in the electrical utility industry (required)
- Demonstrated strong verbal and technical writing skills (required)
Qualifications
- Pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy
