Responsibilities
- Engage in all stages of product development life cycle for the Cabin Management system.
- Lead execution across the development life-cycle from requirements capture through development and verification testing of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Design and implement build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and use.
- Design, develop, document, test and design control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers in the planning, design, development and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
- Determine end-user needs by analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements and input data acquisition.
- Innovate, design, develop and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions.
- Ensure hardware and software standards are met.
- Ensure novel ideas and implementation are captured and protected using applications IP processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience in an Embedded Systems Engineering or related position.
- In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in Embedded Systems Engineering or related position.
- Must possess at least 2 years of experience performing software development, integration and testing of aircraft lighting, audio/video, or cabin management systems.
- Must possess at least 1 year of experience with markup languages like HTML, XML, databases like SQL, and computer scripting languages like Python, Perl.
- Must possess at least 1 year of experience working with aircraft cabin management systems or in-flight entertainment systems development life cycle.
Pay
The salary range is $133,494.00 to $165,200.00.00 USD per year.
