Senior Engineer Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer focusing on Azure technologies. Strong proficiency in Azure services including Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of services using tools like Azure Monitor and Jarvis.
• Conduct post-mortem analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure DevOps tools and technologies and recommend best practices.
• Work with PL/SQL, programming techniques, and concepts in a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Requirements

• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
