Senior Engineer/PM - Traffic
Responsibilities
The Senior Engineer/PM will work with a team on various traffic engineering projects, including:
- Assisting in analysis, design and implementation of projects such as traffic impact studies, traffic operations studies, capacity analysis, traffic signal design, signal timing, signing, striping, lighting and traffic control plans.
- Working with traffic analysis software (Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, TransCad).
- Understanding local agency rules and regulations, technical specialization, client service capability, and proactivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (with a focus on transportation preferred).
- Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Prior industry experience of 6-8 years.
- Good working knowledge of traffic analysis software, including Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, TransCad.
- Knowledge of State and local rules, regulations, standards, and procedures is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
