Senior Engineer-Network

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of duties involving the development, planning, installation, and maintenance of Local Area Networks (LANs) and the Wide Area Network (WAN) used by Southcoast Health System and affiliated organizations.
• Work as a member of the Network Team and work in close cooperation with MIS Directors, other Technical Team members, Engineers, Project Leaders, other MIS staff, and end users in resolving network-related problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related fields or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
• Strong team-oriented mindset.
• Five years related work experience in implementing, documenting, and troubleshooting Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN networks to ensure high availability.
• Experience with Citrix Netscaler, and Infoblox DNS/DHCP appliances.
• Extensive Cisco routing and switching experience, including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and L2/L3 architectures.
• SD Networking and SD WAN Experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay

Pay range: USD $81,473.60 - USD $137,384.00 /Yr.

Schedule

Shift: Day shift with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); Every 4-5 weeks; 8:00am - 4:30pm
