Description

DGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is looking for a Senior Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365 solutions. This individual will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for leading medium to large Microsoft 365 engagements while helping customers modernize, secure, and optimize their collaboration and productivity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for medium to large customer engagements.
• Develop implementation plans, technical documentation, and deployment methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles from discovery through project completion.
• Lead Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant consolidations, messaging modernization initiatives, and platform optimization projects.
• Explain Expertise in Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid Deployments, Exchange Online Protection (EOP), Mail Flow Architecture and Administration, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Retention and Records Management, eDiscovery and Compliance Solutions, Microsoft Entra ID Integration, Conditional Access, Microsoft Secure Score, Microsoft 365 Security Best Practices, PowerShell Automation, One Drive for Business (Preferred).
• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers.
• Assist with technical standards, best practices, and solution development within the Modern Workplace practice.
• Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Stay current on Microsoft 365 roadmap developments, emerging capabilities, and evolving security threats.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Maintain adherence to DGR Systems delivery methodologies and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and delivery leaders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Experience leading customer-facing technical projects.
• Deep experience with Exchange Online administration, architecture, and migrations.
• Experience with Exchange Hybrid environments and messaging coexistence strategies.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and email security solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, retention, compliance, governance, and information protection capabilities.
• Experience administering SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business environments.
• Experience implementing Conditional Access, MFA, and Microsoft security best practices.
• Experience performing Microsoft 365 assessments, health checks, and remediation projects.
• Experience with PowerShell automation and Microsoft administration tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and service capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
