Senior Engineer, Infra Platform

About the role

Oversees technology development solutions through new and existing applications, systems architecture, applications, data infrastructure/warehouses and machine learning algorithms and infrastructure (applications for the firm including both internal and external products).

Maintains and supports applications.

Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.

Plans, administers and provides technical support of operating system capabilities.

Includes designing, developing and troubleshooting or debugging software programs for enhancements and new products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and solve technical issues by applying established guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Deliver high-quality work independently while coordinating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Support the implementation and improvement of processes, ensuring efficient flow of information and execution of tasks.
• Contribute to ongoing platform stability and enhancements through continuous improvement and practical application of technical knowledge.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• 5-8 Years of Experience
• Working experience within infrastructure engineering or a related technical discipline
• Solid understanding of core engineering principles, methods, and technologies within the job family
• Ability to analyze situations and apply sound judgment to solve straightforward to moderately complex problems
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while following established guidelines and policies
• Strong coordination and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively manage information and processes
• Practical experience applying technical knowledge to deliver reliable and efficient solutions
• Understanding of business drivers and the ability to align technical work with organizational goals
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience with Linux/Unix (RHEL preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience using Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus)
