Senior Engineer III
About the role
ASRC Federal Business Innovation, LLC is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. This position supports the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA.
Responsibilities
- Participates in product sustainment, product development, lab support, and engineering services in support of the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and Mission Support (MS) business lines within the customer’s organization
- Aid in evaluating current systems, planning of large-scale system projects, purchasing, installing and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems
- Provide technical support to outside customers, such as System Program Offices
- Support acquisition support, independent verification and validation, and independent testing of externally acquired products
- Offer consulting, research, analysis, reverse-engineering studies and other support tasks
- Create technical specifications and design documents
- Work with stakeholders and manage project teams (internally) and/or externally
Requirements
- Possess Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- Minimum 15 years’ experience with at least one of the following: Electronic Warfare Radar Sensors and Fusion Communications Navigation Identification Tactical Data Links and Networks Information Assurance Avionics OFPs Support Equipment Simulations Systems Integration
- Strong English language skills (both written and verbal)
- Interest in new technologies and the ability to adapt to those new technologies
- Ability to lead a team and carry development workload
- Ability to work in a collaborative, Agile/Scrum environment

- You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
- A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e.4/10 or 9/80)
