Position Summary

Provides complex electrical and instrumentation and control (I&C) engineering services to assist in attaining the goals of plant reliability, efficiency, safety and environmental compliance in the most cost-effective manner. Manages and coordinates engineering activities in support of the operations and maintenance of the power plant to improve reliability, operability and maintainability. Plans, develops, designs, and executes capital and major expense projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET Accredited curriculum is required or applicable equivalent training and education.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
  • At least Eight (8) years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience in large, modern power plants dealing with design, construction, operation and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation and control systems.
  • Experience must include the development of detailed engineering and technical specifications, detailed engineering budgetary estimates, evaluation and analysis of electrical components, and troubleshooting of complex engineering problems.
