Senior Engineer, Global Facilities US - Water/Wastewater

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Micron Global, Regional, and Site Design and Construction project teams in developing engineering and design concepts for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects.
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional Facilities, Site Facilities, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Layout and Planning, and other internal and external collaborators.
  • Develop water and wastewater system designs to be incorporated into U.S. Design and Construction Projects.
  • Establish and maintain outstanding engineering and construction practices, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Review and provide feedback on Micron Global Design and Construction Standards and Construction Specifications.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Micron Global system standards, specifications, and best-known methods.
  • Analyze system designs for performance improvements, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.
  • Contribute to Global Sustainability Programs, including emissions, energy, water, wastewater, and green infrastructure design.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of technical expertise and experience in Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Gases, Water, and Wastewater Systems.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time, up to 30% during critical project phases.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and service attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with 5+ years experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems.
  • Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater systems.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems.
  • Ability to integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work.
  • Knowledge of sustainability programs and practices.

Benefits

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $98,000.00 - $200,000.00 a year. Additional Compensation May Include Benefits, Bonuses And Equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
