Senior Engineer - Geostructural - Mi-Tech Services, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculation submittals
• Coordinate development of design and shop drawings
• Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses
• Mentor and support other engineers
• Communicate and coordinate with design and field teams
• Provide support to the Principal Engineer with any other assigned duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 4 to 8 years of experience in the design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects
• Masters degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures preferred
• Hold an active Professional Engineer license in any state
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis
• Basic knowledge of geotechnical engineering and related structures (foundations, retaining walls, and earth retention systems) is a plus
• Previous construction field experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a quickly changing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
