Senior Engineer - Center of Regenerative Biotherapeutics
About the role
The Senior Engineer at the Center of Regenerative Biotherapeutics designs and develops components of biomedical-related engineering systems. The position involves serving as a Technical Lead for projects, providing technical and work direction to project team members, mentoring and coaching other staff, leading in evaluating new technologies and capital equipment, understanding and complying with relevant portions of Quality Management System, and possessing unit-specific expertise in safety risk management and expertise in regulatory requirements applicable to their unit.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a Technical Lead for projects
- Provides technical and work direction to project team members and completes technical work as needed
- Mentors and coaches other staff as required
- May lead in evaluating new technologies and capital equipment
- Understands and complies with relevant portions of Quality Management System
- Has unit-specific expertise in safety risk management and continues to work to develop expertise in regulatory requirements applicable to his/her unit
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or a related field (Biomedical Engineering preferred) and 5 years of professional engineering experience
- Or MS in Engineering or related field and 3 year of professional engineering experience
- Or, PhD in Engineering or related field and 1 year of professional engineering experience
- Masters or PhD preferred, as well as early-to-mid career level candidates

$99,070.40 - $148,616.00 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

Mostly standard business hours. Some after work or before work may be needed. On-call rotation required.
