About the Role

Responsible for ensuring completion of delegated tasks along with operations, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of GPU and PCA systems.

Responsibilities

• Support O&M control of GPU and PCA systems.
• Ensure immediate response to operational or breakdown concerns.
• Complete preventive and breakdown maintenance activities as delegated.
• Monitor spares consumption during maintenance and ensure availability of critical spares.
• Drive process improvement using quality tools.
• Ensure appropriate operational deployment for total coverage.
• Maintain 100% serviceability and availability of BME services at performance levels.
• Prevent revenue leakage and ensure all airlines use BME services; escalate non-usage.
• Ensure usage recording by operators or agents.
• Coordinate with IT to resolve communication failures and FTP data rejections.
• Prepare and maintain MIS records (energy/water consumption, serviceability, inventory, major work reports).
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and create missing SOPs as needed.

Interactions

• External: Airlines, vendors, suppliers, AMC contractors, project & engineering teams, aviation services, safety & airside ops teams, security agencies.
• Internal: Business vertical members, AMC service providers, BME service teams.

Financial & Operational Scope

• Manage a team of 10 across shifts.
• Oversee assets worth ₹15 Cr.
• Handle 10 GPU and 9 PCA units at 1 location (GVIAL).
• Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Full-time Technical Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) from a recognized state board or Full-time B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical) from an AICTE-recognized institute.
• Experience: 4–7 years (Diploma) or 2–4 years (B.Tech) in electro-mechanical maintenance.
