Senior Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In this role, you will be responsible for client development, project management, profitability, and leadership. You will work closely with clients, manage project teams, and guide design decisions, ensuring the delivery of quality projects. Responsibilities Develop new client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.Provide responsive and proactive service to limit crisis management.Represent the design team at project meetings and interviews.Participate in fee proposal development and manage project team workloads.Manage billing processes to ensure project profitability.Keep internal teams updated and delegate tasks effectively.Take initiative to produce a quality product and direct design decisions. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience within the institutional industry (K-12, Higher Ed, Data Center, government, etc.).Excellent communication skills.Experience in engineering management and project management.Business strategy and development expertise.Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.Comfortable working primarily in the office. Additional Skills and Qualifications Ties to Wyoming (from there, family, went to college there, etc.).Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Work Environment This position is based on-site in Cheyenne, Wyoming, at our office. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., providing Friday afternoons away from the office. The team consists of five people at the Cheyenne location, ensuring a close-knit work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Cheyenne, WY. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Provides paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Vacation is accrued evenly throughout the year and is available for use after 90 days of employment, as outlined in the offer letter. Employees receive an additional vacation day each year after one year of service, up to a maximum of four weeks total. Sick leave is provided at one week annually. The company also provides eight paid holidays annually. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Pays 100% of the employee premium for medical, dental, and vision coverage. Dependent premiums are generously subsidized by the company.
