The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: What You Will Do Facilitate and manage the change request process for product design and development projectsWork with the engineering and operations teams to evaluate and approve change requestsCreate and maintain engineering change documentation and ensure all necessary approvals are obtainedPull drawings from database and markup the proposed changes with redlinesUtilize technical writing skills to develop the change problem, cause, solution, and substantiationCommunicate change information to all relevant stakeholders, including suppliers and customersEnsure all change requests are properly tracked and recordedParticipate in project meetings and provide status updates on change request progress.Ensure change control processes are followed, and all documentation is complete and accurateAssist in the implementation of new processes and systems related to engineering change managementEnsure all regulatory and quality compliance requirements are met What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred, or experience with engineering changes in lieu of education3-6 years of experience with engineering changes/change requests requiredFamiliarity with drawings and GD&TExperience working in Teamcenter or similar PLMStrong project management and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lead cross-functional teams and work independentlyProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Pay Range: $30-38/hr Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. Work Requirements This role is considered an on-site position located in Indianapolis, IN You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel Requirements Due to the nature of the work, no of travel is required. Citizenship Requirements Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
