Senior Engineer

About the role

The Senior Engineer will manage the delivery pipeline of software engineering solutions across a portfolio. They will drive the implementation of best engineering practices such as design review, continuous integration, and test-driven development. They will collaborate with various teams to define requirements, interfaces, and implementation approaches while developing scalable and reusable solutions. They will also develop and review code, run full suites of tests, conduct paired programming sessions with customers and team members, and assemble and present technology delivery pitches to senior technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, they will work closely with client engagement partners to improve client relationships and support pre-sales and solutions teams on business development.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience delivering software solutions
• 4 years of experience with application requirements analysis, design, and development
• Using cloud platform
• Web development using Angular JS, Node JS, React, and Typescript
• Back-end development and open-source technologies
• Using Agile tools
• Using Git
• 4 years of experience with at least two of the following relational databases: MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres
• 4 years of experience with at least two of the following NoSQL DB technologies: Cassandra, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB
• 3 years of experience with using MVC and ORM for N-tier architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Experience with web development using Angular JS, Node JS, React, and Typescript
• Experience with back-end development and open-source technologies
• Experience with Agile tools
• Experience with Git
• Experience with at least two of the following relational databases: MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres
• Experience with at least two of the following NoSQL DB technologies: Cassandra, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB
• Experience with MVC and ORM for N-tier architecture
