Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conducts field investigations
• Performs engineering analyses and calculations
• Makes recommendations
• Prepares comprehensive reports
• Reviews drawings and construction for compliance
• Prepares Request for Proposals (RFPs) and cost estimates
• Maintains project progress and budgets
• Presents adjustments as necessary
• Researches and resolves design and construction challenges

Requirements

• Implements entire project cycle of large, complex projects
• Works with entry-level engineers to develop process solutions
• Ensures code compliance and adheres to engineering standards
• Maintains company and safety standards
• Fulfills troubleshooting guidelines, engineering support, and field engineering support
• Engages in PSM process/activities
• Maintains Process Safety Management (PSM)
• Develops Maintenance Operating Conditions (MOCs), conducts Preliminary Safety Studies (PSSRs), participates in Hazard Analysis (PHA)/Loss of Pressure Analysis (LOPA), etc.
• Maintains process simulations and utilizes simulation files for troubleshooting, project development, training, and cost estimates
• Collaborates with engineering and business development groups to assist in project development and estimates
• Analyzes data and performs engineering calculations and analysis
• Defines appropriate goals and works toward achieving them
• Adheres to safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action beyond guidelines
