Overview
DB USA Core Corporation seeks a Senior Engineer to develop and deliver quality code with minimal defects while working on assigned stories.
Responsibilities
- Develop, build, enhance, and optimize regulatory reporting solutions for CCAR, 14A, and FRY9C compliance using the Axiom Regulatory Reporting Tool, AXIOM SL Controller view, Java, J2EE, Oracle, Unix, and related technologies.
- Migrate applications from physical servers to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments to ensure scalability, security, and cost‑effectiveness, leveraging Bitbucket, Veracode, TeamCity, Control‑M, Artifactory, and ServiceNow.
- Administer Big Data technologies and Informatica, managing ETL processes, data integration, and governance for large‑scale financial applications.
- Implement DevOps practices using Bitbucket, Veracode, TeamCity, and SonarQube for continuous integration, security scanning, and automated delivery.
- Administer UNIX/Linux environments and create shell scripts to optimize system operations and enhance application stability.
- Perform Oracle database administration, including performance tuning, query optimization, and generation of AWR reports for banking and financial applications.
- Ensure stability, disaster‑recovery readiness, high availability, and capacity management for business‑critical regulatory reporting applications built on Axiom Controllerview, Oracle databases, and UNIX/Linux platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience with regulatory reporting tools and the technologies listed above.
- Proficiency with Java, J2EE, Oracle, Unix/Linux, shell scripting, Bitbucket, Veracode, TeamCity, Control‑M, GCP, Artifactory, ServiceNow, Informatica, Big Data platforms, and SonarQube.
- Experience in migrating on‑premises applications to cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and automated testing.
- Experience with Oracle performance tuning, AWR reporting, and database management.
- Ability to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning for mission‑critical systems.
Pay
Salary range: $149,000 – $165,000 per year.
