Senior Engineer

About The Role

We're looking for a Senior IT Operations Support Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you'll be a key player in keeping our business-critical environments stable, reliable, and performing at their best. You'll own complex incident resolution, lead root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements that keep our services running smoothly. What You'll Do

• Monitor and manage IT systems, servers, applications, and network performance to ensure high availability and service continuity.
• Own and resolve complex incidents, service requests, and escalations within SLAs, coordinating across L3, platform, network, and vendor teams.
• Plan and execute routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration updates in accordance with change management controls.
• Support and validate backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and business continuity processes to minimize operational risk.
• Lead troubleshooting for recurring or complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain and continuously improve operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and configuration records.
• Identify and drive automation opportunities using scripts and repeatable workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Support onboarding of new services into the operations run environment, defining monitoring, escalation, and operational readiness requirements.

• Monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, OpsRamp, ManageEngine ITOM
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related engineering field
• 6–8 years of overall experience; 5+ years in a relevant IT operations or infrastructure role

• Strong grasp of ITSM processes — Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Monitoring & alerting — advanced proficiency
• Capacity management — advanced proficiency
• Systems administration (Windows/Linux) — advanced proficiency
• Disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability concepts — a plus
