Senior Engineer

About the role
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on engineer who enjoys collaborating on the shop floor and wants to make a meaningful impact without being tied to a management-heavy position. As a Senior Engineer, you will take customer requirements from purchase order through production and shipment, translating high-precision gear and component drawings into practical manufacturing solutions while working side by side with machinists and the quality team. This is a hands-on engineering role where your expertise in gear manufacturing, CAD/CAM, tooling, and AS9100 practices will directly influence the quality and success of complex aerospace, defense, and industrial components.
Responsibilities
- Interpret customer prints, CAD/CAM drawings, and engineering specifications
- Manage projects from purchase order through tooling, production, quality, and shipment
- Partner with machinists and quality teams to resolve production challenges
- Select and order tooling for precision components
- Support aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial manufacturing projects
- Troubleshoot processes and ensure customer specifications are met
- Contribute engineering expertise to a rapidly growing operation
Requirements
- 10+ years of precision manufacturing engineering experience
- Gear or high-precision component manufacturing experience
- AS9100 experience
- CAD/CAM experience or transferable expertise
- Strong ability to read engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Hands-on, collaborative approach with production teams
- Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered

Pay
$115,000 - $155,000/Year + Bonus (DOE)
