Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the design and engineering approach for complex features are consistent with the larger portfolio solution
• Defines the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluates and adapts new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s)
• Enables team(s)/applications with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities and engages with other technical stakeholders pertaining to efficient functioning of CI-CD pipeline
• Guides and influences team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance – e.g. pairing, code reviews
• Ends-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program level
• Conducts research, design prototyping and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets and components for release management, CI/CD, and features
• Works with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirements

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, including 5+ years of direct experience with AWS
• Proven experience designing production-grade cloud infrastructure in regulated environments
• Advanced knowledge of networking (firewalls, DNS, Load Balancing, Proxies, etc.)
• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Shell)
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery pipelines and GitOps workflows
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., EKS/Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or Dynatrace, as well as AWS native tools
• Strong proficiency with using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to build cloud infrastructure solutions and automating cloud deployments

You'll collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver well-architected solutions aligned with industry best practices.
