Senior Engineer, Aerothermal Fluids, Cases and APU (Onsite)

Responsibilities
- Aerodynamic analysis of turbomachinery—from conceptual 1D to full 3D analysis
- Support rig and engine testing—process data for engine and component test, utilizing it to improve designs, models and tools
- Thermal analysis of static cases
- Process and methods—develop tools and scripts to improve design system
What you will learn
- Centrifugal compressor and radial turbine aerodynamic design
- Finite element analysis for static and rotating hardware
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM)
- 5+ years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree and 3+ years of engineering experience in aerodynamic design of turbomachinery
- Experience with radial turbomachinery aerodynamics: compressor or turbine
- 10% travel
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in finite element analysis
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Perl, Fortran, and MATLAB
Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
