Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new materials processing techniques
- Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct research and development on emerging materials technologies
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to integrate new processes into production
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in materials processing
- Experience with advanced materials synthesis and characterization techniques
- Strong understanding of process engineering principles and applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus)
- Knowledge of material science and chemistry principles
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
Skills
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
