Senior Energetics Materials Process Lead Chemical Engineer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new materials processing techniques
• Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Conduct research and development on emerging materials technologies

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in materials processing
• Experience with advanced materials synthesis and characterization techniques
• Strong understanding of process engineering principles and applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus)
• Knowledge of material science and chemistry principles
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
