Role Overview This position provides assistance to GI physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the GI lab, ensuring safe and efficient patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes. Responsibilities Support physicians in endoscopy procedures, maintaining safety and efficiencyAssist with patient care before, during, and after proceduresEnsure adherence to safety protocols and proper equipment handlingCollaborate with team members to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing assistants, surgical technicians, or equivalent trainingWithin 30 days of hire: BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationMinimum of 3 years GI/endoscopy experiencePreferred: SGNA certification and 5+ years healthcare experience in a GI lab Key Attributes Strong teamwork and communication skillsAttention to safety and detailCommitment to patient-centered care
