Senior Employment and Regulatory Counsel

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Employment And Regulatory Counsel to join their team. This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management, partnering with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Location: Redwood City, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Advise various teams on HR compliance, recruiting, and pay equity reporting
• Lead employment law efforts for international expansion and corporate initiatives
• Act as privacy counsel on employee data protection
• Draft tailored employment agreements and policies
• Deliver training on HR and employment law topics for managers
• Conduct compliance reviews of employment-related practices
• Monitor and update on employment law changes to inform stakeholders

Qualifications

• JD from a top law school; active membership in one U.S. State bar
• 8+ years of related experience including 3+ years at a premier law firm or government agency
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Experience managing civil litigation from start to finish

Pay

$240,000 – $300,000 annually
