About the Opportunity

The Senior Employee Relations Specialist leads complex employee relations efforts including high-risk investigations, performance management, and involuntary terminations. This role acts as a trusted advisor to leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring fair and consistent workplace practices. The position influences organizational culture and risk management through proactive strategy development and capability building.

Responsibilities

  • Lead confidential ER investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations
  • Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and produce clear documentation and recommendations
  • Advise on performance management and support leaders to improve outcomes through coaching and feedback
  • Consult on high-risk and standard terminations ensuring policy compliance and consistency
  • Collaborate with Leave of Absence and Accommodations teams on intersecting ER matters
  • Develop and deliver ER-related training for People Advisors and leaders
  • Analyze ER data to identify trends and risks, presenting insights to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or commitment to obtain within three years, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in employee relations
  • Proven expertise in ER design and execution
  • Experience leading change management initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project or process improvement teams
  • Ability to use data and reports to inform projects and decisions

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Compensation ranges from $90,281.44 to $119,171.49 USD, including base salary plus bonus. The organization offers a competitive total rewards package, including 401(k) match and comprehensive healthcare coverage.
