About the role
Develop high-quality embedded software solutions for cutting-edge security systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and quality assurance specialists.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software systems for security devices.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure software meets system requirements.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
- Document software design and implementation details for future reference and maintenance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with microcontroller-based systems and peripherals.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
- Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Skills
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Knowledge of security protocols and standards (e.g., AES, RSA).
- Experience with embedded networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
- Understanding of security architecture and threat modeling.
