Senior Embedded Developer

About the role

Visionist is seeking a Senior Embedded Developer for a fully funded opportunity supporting a Prime contract. The role requires an Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and modify embedded software
• Participate in code reviews and work as part of a larger team to develop embedded software products
• Create and maintain documentation on developed software and techniques
• Develop and maintain support software for interfacing with developed embedded software
• Perform developer testing and integration testing for all developed software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 15 years of experience in embedded development
• (13 years with a Master's degree)
• Experience with low-level programming in Windows, Linux, or real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks or uC/OS
• Experience with C/C++ and Python programming

Pay

Salary range: $190,000 - $240,000

Fully remote, but office visits are welcome.
