  • Carry meaningful technical sign‑off weight in design reviews, identifying design issues early
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid‑level engineers, including review of their work product and transfer of HV‑specific design knowledge
  • Represent HVHP in cross‑site design reviews and technical discussions, independently
  • Provide technical expertise and problem‑solving support for sustaining legacy designs as needed, stepping into a lead role when issues become critical
  • Other duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), with 10–15 years of power electronics design and development experience, including 10+ years of high voltage DC design experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading technology development projects from concept through design‑ready maturity
  • Strong analog and digital circuit analysis skills, with deep expertise in high voltage DC power supply design
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior and mid‑level engineers
  • Ability to work hands‑on with a variety of lab equipment and tools

Skills

  • Programming experience (C, LabView, Matlab) is desirable
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (RS232, USB, Ethernet) is desirable
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, including the ability to present technical findings to stakeholders across the organization
  • Ability to represent HVHP independently in cross‑site technical discussions
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on occasion
