We are looking for a Senior Electrical Assembler to join our team—someone who brings deep expertise in power box builds, wiring, routing, and low‑voltage assemblies, along with strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills. UCT is looking for a talented Senior Electrical Assembler to join us in Hillsboro, OR! This is a senior‑level, hands‑on role responsible for assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems in a high‑mix production environment. You will play a key role in ensuring build quality, supporting engineering changes, and improving assembly processes. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assemble, wire, and integrate complex electrical systems, including:Power distribution boxes (panel builds)Low‑voltage assembliesCable harnessing and routingRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and build documentationPerform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and rework on assembliesRoute, terminate, and secure wiring with precision and adherence to quality standardsPartner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve build issuesSupport engineering changes (ECOs) and new product introduction (NPI) buildsIdentify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements and standard work enhancementsEnsure compliance with quality, safety, and documentation requirementsMaintain accurate build and rework recordsAct as a technical resource and mentor to junior assemblersSupport production goals for on-time delivery and operational efficiency Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in electrical or electro‑mechanical assemblyStrong hands‑on experience with:Power box / panel buildingCable routing and wire harnessingLow‑voltage electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsProven troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability in a manufacturing settingHigh attention to detail with strong commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in semiconductor, aerospace, or other high‑precision manufacturing industriesFamiliarity with:Engineering change orders (ECOs)High‑mix, low‑volume production environmentsExperience supporting NPI builds or complex configurationsInformal leadership or mentoring experienceTrack record of improving assembly quality, efficiency, or processes Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
