Senior Electrical Estimator (Commercial & Industrial)

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator (Commercial & Industrial) to manage high-profile bids for complex commercial, industrial, and government projects across North and South Carolina.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leverage modern estimating tools and strong vendor relationships to build highly competitive, profitable bids.
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates, comprehensive takeoffs, and polished bid proposals using Accubid or similar software.
• Thoroughly review drawings, specifications, blueprints, and one-line diagrams to accurately identify project scope and risk.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities to consistently improve bid competitiveness and profit margins.
• Source and manage vendor and subcontractor pricing while building and maintaining strong industry relationships.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and field leadership to track bid outcomes and performance metrics.
• Act as a leader in the office by supporting, training, and mentoring junior team members.

What You Need To Succeed

• Experience: 7–10+ years of dedicated electrical construction or estimating experience is required.
• Software Proficiency: Proven experience with Accubid or comparable electrical estimating platforms.
• Technical Knowledge: A strong, comprehensive understanding of the NEC, as well as commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Blueprint Proficiency: The proven ability to accurately read and interpret complex construction plans and one-line diagrams.
• Mindset & Skills: Highly detail-oriented, incredibly organized, and deadline-driven, with exceptional communication skills.
• Educational Background: An Associate’s degree is preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience). An NC Electrical License is highly preferred.
• License & Certifications: A valid Driver’s License is absolutely required.

• Top-Tier Pay: $60,000 – $100,000 annually (based strictly on experience) paid on a reliable weekly pay cycle.
