Senior Electrical Estimator

Hybrid/Remote role with limited travel.

About the role

We're looking for a Permanent Senior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our organization, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our company by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our high-voltage transmission line projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to understand the scope of work and determine the cost, materials, and labor required for the project.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed information about a project.
• Analyze different suppliers and contractors to secure the best cost-effective deals.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports and presentations, and to track and manage project costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, specifically in the construction industry.
• Proven experience with EHV transmission lines, electrical transmission, and transmission line construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Project.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
