About the role

Lead the future of AI, HPC, and mission-critical infrastructure while working on some of the industry’s most advanced engineering and data center projects. INTUVA by PTS Data Center Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical infrastructure projects supporting AI/HPC environments, hyperscale data centers, critical facilities, advanced energy systems, and next-generation infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically strong, client-facing engineering leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands how to deliver reliable, scalable, and resilient power systems for mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and engineering of mission-critical electrical systems for hyperscale data centers, AI/HPC environments, critical facilities, advanced energy systems, and infrastructure projects.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR), providing signed and sealed engineering drawings and technical documentation where required.
  • Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, one-lines, coordination studies, arc flash analysis, and system designs using AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or related engineering tools.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, project managers, architects, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams throughout project execution.
  • Support commissioning, startup, integrated systems testing, field investigations, and validation activities while ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, operational, and code compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to technical proposals, client presentations, engineering standards, and process improvements across the organization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in at least one U.S. state.
  • Ability to sign and seal engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • 7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience in mission-critical facilities, data center, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or related engineering tools.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of mission-critical electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineering staff.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and client-facing critical thinking skills.
  • Strong understanding of utility interconnection coordination, power system reliability, redundancy architectures, Tier standards, and mission-critical operational requirements.
  • Understanding of redundancy architectures, energy efficiency strategies, and mission-critical operations.

Preferred

  • Experience with AI/HPC infrastructure or hyperscale data center environments.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 110, ASHRAE, IEEE, and Uptime Institute standards.
  • Experience with commissioning, startup, and validation activities for complex electrical systems.
  • Experience with fast-track or design-build project delivery environments.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, cloud, or enterprise data center clients.
  • Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier standards and mission-critical redundancy strategies.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering coordination and client-facing technical reviews.
  • NCEES Record in good standing preferred and strongly valued.
  • Multi-state PE registrations highly preferred.
