About the role

The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer with confidence and competence in industrial, power, and process work. This role involves managing multiple projects and collaborating with an internal MEP/FP team to deliver solutions that meet architect and owner objectives. Business development acumen is a plus, with opportunities to advance through activities such as developing action plans to secure new work, identifying prospective markets and clients, and implementing goals for the Nashville office.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of electrical engineering principles in power distribution, generation, and industrial/manufacturing construction.
• Increase technical competency with experience and work ethic.
• Use SKM/ETAP or other electrical system modeling software.
• Design balance of plant process electrical systems integrating with chilled water, compressed air, and steam/hot water systems.
• Communicate effectively with architects, owners, and contractors.
• Work independently and as part of a strong team.
• Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with complex building electrical systems in the industrial and power/process sector.
• Registered Professional Engineering license preferred, not required.
• Experience with Revit.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for team-based projects.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for managing simultaneous project schedules.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
• Willingness to travel (10%).
