Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

An expanding chemical manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support safe and efficient operations of the facility. This individual will oversee design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain medium and low voltage electrical systems.
• Provide technical support for motors, heaters, drives, and process equipment used in production.
• Lead and support root cause analysis for electrical failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Support plant electrical safety programs and electrical reliability initiatives.
• Provide a safe, secure, and productive work environment for associates on site.
• Develop short- and long-term plans for on-site equipment.
• Develop predictive and preventative maintenance programs and lead capital projects related to electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Four-year accredited degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred 5+ years in Petrochemical, Chemical, or Materials Industry.
• Working knowledge of industrial power systems, MCCs, VFDs, DCS/PLC power systems, and control panels.
• High-level analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
