Senior Electrical Design Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for advanced facilities.
• Create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D models, and electronic document files using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Deliver complex design packages in coordination with engineers and design leads.
• Develop staffing plans based on project deliverables and schedules.
• Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and timelines for assigned tasks.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and drafters.
• Collaborate within a dynamic, high-performing team to produce world-class designs for well-known global clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant design experience utilizing 3-D modeling/drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 1 year of Revit design experience.
• Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements.
• Associate’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• 3 years of semiconductor industry experience (preferred).

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $48.00 - $56.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Schedule

These openings are contracts to start, but they are intended to convert to full-time permanent positions.
