Senior Electrical Design Engineer Healthcare - P2S

About the role

P2S|CMTA is a professional engineering services provider serving various sectors including healthcare, higher education, and more. We offer services like engineering, commissioning, and construction management. Based in Long Beach, Irvine, and other locations, we seek a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in healthcare or commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-design and design phases on healthcare and commercial projects
• Apply advanced design principles, perform calculations, and model
• Prepare construction estimates and specifications
• Manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development
• Conduct feasibility studies, schematic designs, and single-line diagrams
• Develop lighting systems and controls, engineer power systems, and conduct studies
• Experience with low voltage systems is a plus

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• EIT certification preferred
• LEED accreditation and PE license preferred
• AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred
• Experience with California or Washington building codes
• Knowledge of healthcare codes and standards

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical design experience in healthcare or commercial buildings
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Understanding of healthcare codes and standards

Pay

$150,000 – $190,000, based on experience. Annual performance-based bonus is also available.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
