Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Your tasks

• Design and engineer power transformers in accordance with customer specifications, IEEE/ANSI standards, and internal guidelines.
• Perform electrical calculations including losses, impedance, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, and insulation coordination.
• Support tendering and order execution with technical input and feasibility assessments.
• Interface with manufacturing, testing, quality, and supply chain teams during project execution.
• Provide technical support during factory testing, customer inspections, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with global BU PT engineering teams to align on standards, best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical design-related issues.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in power transformer design or high-voltage equipment engineering
• Strong knowledge of power transformer theory and electrical design principles
• Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, and IEC standards
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate globally
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, and physical
• Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check
