About the role
Provides strategic and operational leadership for the County's electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure initiatives. Acts as a central coordinator, facilitating the planning, deployment, and ongoing management of EV supply equipment across bureaus/departments and in collaboration with external utilities and executives. Manages vendor contracts and oversees project financials and timelines. Analyzes usage data and coordinates all operational aspects, including repairs, with County facility management teams and charging station manufacturers. Ensures compliance with evolving regulatory standards to optimize the County's electric vehicle charging network.
Responsibilities
- Manages large-scale clean transportation or energy initiatives, or directly related experience
- Facilitates planning, deployment, and ongoing management of EV supply equipment
- Manages vendor contracts and oversees project financials and timelines
- Analyzes usage data and coordinates operational aspects with County facility management teams and charging station manufacturers
- Ensures compliance with evolving regulatory standards to optimize the County's electric vehicle charging network
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Four (4) years managing large-scale clean transportation or energy initiatives, or directly related experience
- Manage using, installing, siting, or selling ChargePoint, Blink, or other commercial charging station networks
