Senior EHS Manager (Director of Environmental Health and Safety)

Responsibilities

• Creates and drives the execution of the safety strategy for the Mississippi campus to achieve the vision.
• Provides guidance and EHS leadership to peers, direct reports and the Mississippi employees.
• Engages and develops team of hourly and management EHS professionals.
• Identifies common and more complex safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organization's operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards.
• Audits safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and adequacy relative to local conditions.
• Makes recommendations for improvement based on periodic performance reports for trends and conditions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in leading, developing engaging and inclusive team.
• Degree or equivalent job-related experience (preferably in EHS or related field).
• Proven ability to set and implement a strategic vision.
• Professional certification in a related field is desired.
• Experience with U.S. environmental regulations.
