Senior EH&S Specialist

About the role

The Senior EH&S Specialist will lead the environmental health and safety initiatives for the organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive EH&S policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide guidance and training to employees on safety protocols and emergency response plans
• Manage incident reporting and investigation processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EH&S management
• Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• $120,000 - $140,000 annually
