Senior Editor (Remote)

About the role

Our client is a top name in pharmaceuticals and they are seeking a Sr. Editor to join their Content Review Editorial team. This role reports into the Editorial Team Lead and is an hourly position. The position is fully remote within the US, requiring EST availability, and is an ongoing contract with hours that can flex up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support for assigned brands and back-up support for team in accordance with Editorial SLA.
• Understand & comply with defined standards of review.
• Remotely attend CRT review meetings, if needed.
• Collaborate with clients/stakeholders to help the team meet business objectives.
• Effect efficient promotion review by providing input for process improvement, standards, etc., as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in arts or sciences required; degree in English, journalism, or communication preferred.
• Minimum 5 years general editorial experience, with at least 2 years in medical, pharmaceutical, or advertising industry.
• Proficient in AMA style.
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat.
• Command of medical/legal system and regulatory guidelines.
• An editing assessment will be given.

Pay

Compensation range: $50‑$55 per hour (W2).
